Returns & Refunds

We want every Keep Blooming order to be a perfect experience. Because flowers are a perishable product, our returns policy differs from standard retail. Please read the conditions below carefully. If you have a quality concern, we act fast — just contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

1. Cancellations

More than 48 hours before delivery / pickup

You may cancel your order for a full refund if you contact us more than 48 hours before your scheduled delivery or pickup date and time. To cancel, email hello@keepblooming.ca with your order number.

Less than 48 hours before delivery / pickup

Cancellations requested less than 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time are generally not eligible for a refund, as preparation has already begun. However, we review these on a case-by-case basis — please contact us and we will do our best to help.

Same-day orders

Same-day orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed, as preparation begins immediately.

2. Quality Issues

We stand behind the quality of every arrangement we send. If your flowers arrive with a quality defect — wilted, damaged in transit, or significantly different from what was described — we will make it right.

To report a quality issue:

  1. Contact us at hello@keepblooming.ca within 24 hours of delivery.
  2. Include your order number and at least one clear photo of the arrangement.
  3. We will review your request and respond within 1 business day.

Depending on the issue, we will offer:

  • A replacement arrangement delivered at no extra charge, or
  • A full or partial refund to your original payment method.

Note: minor natural variation in flower colour, size, or shape due to seasonal availability is normal and not considered a quality defect. Product photos show representative arrangements; actual flowers may vary slightly.

3. Delivery Issues

Incorrect address

If a delivery fails due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout, re-delivery charges apply. We are not liable for failed deliveries in this case.

No one home / inaccessible location

We will attempt to contact you if no one is available to receive the flowers. If flowers are left in a safe location as instructed and later deteriorate due to weather or environment, we cannot offer a refund. If delivery is impossible and flowers are returned to us, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery (a re-delivery fee may apply).

Delay outside our control

In rare cases, delivery may be delayed due to severe weather, traffic, or other events beyond our control. We will notify you of any significant delays. Delivery fee refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis in these situations.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Delivered fresh flower arrangements where no quality defect is reported within 24 hours.
  • Orders where flowers were left as per customer instructions and subsequently deteriorated.
  • Personalized items (custom cards, specific add-ons ordered to specification) unless they arrive damaged.
  • Orders cancelled after the applicable cancellation window (see Section 1).

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method:

  • Credit / debit card: 5–10 business days to appear on your statement (depending on your bank).
  • PayPal: 3–5 business days.
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay: 5–10 business days (credited to the underlying card).

We do not issue cash refunds or store credit in lieu of refunds (unless specifically agreed upon).
